One of the greatest yet unfulfilled wishes of Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam was to ensure that every child in the country gets access to good books. He believed every youth in the country should have access to a library as a matter of right and wanted that at least one library should be there in every village of the country for the benefit of underprivileged children. The Kalam Library Project (KLP) is based on this unfulfiled wish of Dr. Kalam to empower the ignited minds of India with the power of Knowledge. The mentors of the project are some well-known people from various backgrounds of the industry and society.
