The purpose of Dreamathon is to conduct workshops and activities in schools and colleges around the principle tenet of Dr. Kalam – “Dream big”
All the beneficiary students from the Kalam Libraries and one’s that have set up Kalam [email protected] will engage in some creative expression of “My dream of a future India and how will I make it happen”. This can be done in essays, slogans, drawings, crafts, videos or any other form
Students from the Kalam Libraries may also have a talent-showcasing act displayed during the Maharashtra Day event
The What Can I Give Mission is a nation-wide movement started by Dr. Kalam in 2012 to inculcate the universal spirit of giving
Taking forward the core essence of this mission, Kalam [email protected] is a youth-led initiative in schools and colleges
Each partnering school/college will run an independent Kalam Centre comprising mostly of senior students but also some secondary and junior level students. These students will be known as ‘Kalam Fellows’
Kalam Fellows are encouraged to give 2-4 hours of service under the banner of ‘Be a Kalam’ at the Libraries, every week
